Pomegranates have been a recurring symbol in my work because of their rich folklore and connection to femininity, abundance, and transformation. Across many cultures they represent fertility, prosperity, and the cycles of life and rebirth.

My work celebrates nature, folk traditions, and decorative arts. Inspired by the colors and rhythms of the natural world, I simplify forms from animals and plants and reimagine them through layered color and pattern. Drawing from rosemaling, a traditional Norwegian folk art, my pieces blend flowing lines and floral motifs into work that feels both timeless and full of energy.
